Vincent from Dallas, Texas writes: Hello there. I am Father to two kids who are herbie fanatics.....I built them a herbie go-cart with a real engine and all that is authentic in appearance right down to the racing strips! I was doing a fun search for other possible herbie go-carts and your site came up in google..... I have attached some pictures of our herbie go cart and you are welcome to share them. We just love our bug ! It goes up to 40 mph and is a blast !

Vincent is referring to an ongoing cleverness one-upsmanship battle about the fun that was had by some and witheld from others who were and were not allowed to use a Herbie go-cart a long time ago in Calabasas, CA. The current whereabouts of that Herbie are still a mystery, but Vincent's photos make it clear that the Suburban bliss of owning of Herbie go cart has not waned. By the way, I am not recommending anyone build this cart. The decapitation risk at 40mph seems quite pronounced.
