I Won!! Who Nu I was such a good artist, certainely not me!! My friend Dori insisted that I enter our art Club's show at a gallery in Encino, California. I entered 2 paintings, Hoping to sell them I priced them low at $600 each. Another dear friend Linda Shapiro helped me get them to the gallery. After signing in we went for lunch at a local California jewish deli, which is not saying much. While their the Gallery called to tell me that one of the painting needed a new frame, we rushed to the art store, got some paint and ran to repaint the frame. We had 30 minutes to do all that. We then sat down to rest and we decided to wait for the Professional Art Judge to arrive. I never thought I would win, but when he stopped in front of my painting I became very excited and then.......
Dori Said TOBY YOU WON BEST OF SHOW!! After being speechless for a minute .. I did the most important thing.. I put a One in front of the Six!
